Koji Amakawa
Founder
Koji began to think about global energy problems in high school, chose to study mechanical engineering and energy conversion engineering at Kyushu University, Japan (B.Eng, M.Eng), and joined the R&D of phosphoric acid fuel cells at Hitachi Research Lab. in Japan. He then moved to the U.S., studied computer science at University of California, Santa Cruz (PhD), and worked on pathfinding and navigation at Etak, deCarta, and Uber Technologies. In 2020, he decided to focus on climate change for future generations including his son, and launched No More CO2, Inc.

Yoji Kawaguchi
Co-Founder
Yoji Kawaguchi has twenty years of experience in venture investment and US-Asia business development.
He co-founded two venture investment firms, invested in dozens of startups and helped them navigate to the international market. Now, he is actively focusing on climate tech startups.
He has the honor of meeting passionate entrepreneurs who take on the challenge of helping the earth, and decided to join No More CO2, Inc. to take advantage of his financial experience.
Yoji received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and his MS and BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tokyo.

Minako Amakawa
Co-Founder
Minako started playing the piano at age 4 and studied classical piano at Musashino Music Conservatory in Japan. Other than her love for music, she also loves all kinds of animals, so she really wants to help save animals on our earth. She is not an expert in environmental issues, so after contemplating possible actions, she started taking small steps such as switching to an electric vehicle or drying clothes outside instead of using the dryer.
Minako believes that, although the power of the individual may be small, if we all think about what we can do for our families, friends, and animals, we can move toward restoring the environment.
